The original house on this site was demolished to make way for this new build five-bedroom home. Designed over four floors, the house has a classic contemporary feel and is finished to a luxurious specification.
The standout feature of the home is the breath-taking helical stone staircase with a metal balustrade that offers incredible views from the basement right through to the first floor. The hallway features a step down into the family kitchen/dining room space with stunning views onto a contemporary landscaped garden complete with pond and fully furnished outdoor kitchen. In the basement is a spacious gym that opens out onto a sunken lightwell containing a glass balustrade and tiled staircase, this provides access back up to the garden patio area. “We started working with Howard with a blank piece of paper and a plot of land, initially with no clear vision of what we wanted to achieve. Howard worked closely with us to help us to understand what we actually wanted, listening but also challenging where his expertise could suggest an improvement or alternative.
Almost 3 years later (thanks to bats and Covid) we moved into our dream house, which is perfect for our needs. There are no design features that we would change, I am pretty sure there would have been without Howard's hand holding throughout. He also added to the design and features to really make our house even more attractive.
During the build, Howard was with us every step of the way, assisting with the tendering process and managing variations. Howard is now like a friend to us and we would happily recommend him to others (I already have in fact!).”
